One percent, no press release
We give away one percent of gross revenue every quarter, and most of it goes to the people cleaning up after our industry.
Where it goes
- Responsible Gambling Council — prevention programmes and research, 40% of the fund.
- Gamblers Anonymous Ontario — meeting space and outreach, 20%.
- Kids Help Phone — 15%.
- Toronto food banks — 15%, split across three member banks.
- Player-nominated causes — 10%, voted on by players each quarter.
Why gambling support gets the biggest share
We run a game of chance. Even as a social casino with no real-money wagering, we are in the same psychological neighbourhood as products that hurt people. Funding the organisations that help those people is not charity in the marketing sense — it is a cost of doing this honestly.
Nominate a cause
Every quarter we open a vote for the player-nominated slice. Any registered Canadian or US charity is eligible. Send your nomination through the contact form with "charity nomination" as the topic, and we will put it on the ballot.
